These round sew-on tribal amulets are extra large in size. Stamped from sheet metal with a floral pattern. These sew-on embellishments are sometimes called stamps or "gilets" after the name of the mixed metals they are made from. Each piece has holes punched into them for sewing to costuming or accessories. Easy to add to any DIY project. Our metal amulets are made by hand by Afghan refugees in Pakistan with traditional methods. Due to the handmade nature of this product, size, shape and design may vary slightly from piece to piece.
Metal amulets are widely used by tribal peoples for embellishing adult and children's clothing, bags, animal trappings and all manner of textile items for personal and household use. The beauty of metal amulets is that they are small and lightweight and can be sewn to anything you like!
