Vintage one-row bilezik style Turkoman cuff bracelet from the Ersari Turkoman people. Traditional design with red glass jewels, fine wirework and stamped detailing. Metal is silvertone with brass bands at the top and bottom.
Vintage Ersari Turkoman cuff with banding, stampings, wirework and of course the traditional deep red glass jewels. Traditional design has 'teeth' in the back. Made in silvertone mixed metals with brass banding at the top and bottom. The Turkoman are an ethnic group native to Central Asia, primarily the Turkmen nation state of Turkmenistan. The Turkoman, or Turkmen, are very well known for their horses, the Akhal-Teke desert horse and, of course, for their unique and beautiful jewelry traditions.
