Kuchi Coins - Extra Small - Tribal Coins Pack of 50

Packet of 50 extra small round tribal coins.  Real vintage Pakistani, Afghan, Persian or other Middle Eastern coins with soldered loops for sewing or stringing on cord.  Quick and easy to attach!  These tribal coins are extremely consistent since there are only 2 to 3 types of coins that fit this size standard.  All are about 1/2 inch in diameter.  Great for decorating belly dance costuming or other do-it-yourself projects when consistency is required.  Photo is representative, each pack contains a slightly different mix of coins. Coins are used all over the tribal world to decorate clothing and other personal items and to show wealth.  Add to belly dance bras, belts, vests and other costuming pieces or adorn headpieces, jewelry and other accessories.

In tribal life, vintage components and findings are often reused and repurposed to add adornment to new clothing, jewelry and accessory pieces. You can also find them adorning animals and objects that the owner wishes to keep safe from evil influences. As the item wears and eventually becomes unusable, the pieces that can be saved are repurposed to embellish a newer item. Think of them as the original recycling!

Please note that tribal coins can vary greatly in condition.  Coins will not necessarily match in design, condition, wear or coloration.  Coins are sorted for size and useability only and can vary greatly in design.  We cannot guarantee that they will match each other, or will all be in the same condition from pack to pack or within a pack.  Some coins will be loose and some may be strung on short pieces of cord.  (Coins on cord can easily be cut apart with scissors.  Do not pull coins off cord.  When coins are pull off tight cords you risk breaking the bale.)  These are old, tribally used coins and their condition will reflect their history.
