Smaller pair of mixed metal fibula pins and connecting chain. This is a nice lightweight set that would be easy to add to costuming. In North Africa, women traditionally wear a garment made from a long piece of fabric that is wrapped around the body. The ends are fastened at the shoulders with embellished pins like these - the original safety pin! The pin is pushed through the two pieces of fabric and back out again, then the ring is turned under the pin to hold securely. A great look for renaissance faire costuming or incorporate into your belly dance costume for a unique embellishment.
