Tribal Necklace with Large Coins - Baloch Vintage Coin Necklace - Belly Dance

Vintage Balochi jewel coin necklace with lots of jingling dangles.  The coin necklace has been around since the development of coins as a monetary exchange - an easy and portable way to carry your wealth.  This one features a deep red cord wrapped with metallic gold threads.  The Baloch or Baluch are a semi-nomadic people who live mainly in the Balochistan region.  Balochi women wear an assortment of nose-rings, earrings, rings on fingers and toes, necklaces, bracelets, and ornaments in the hair.
