Vintage Balochi Crescent Earrings - Large Crescent Tribal Earrings

Vintage pair of Balochi earrings with lots of small bell dangles and pretty glass jewels.  About 3 inches total length and 3.5 inches wide.  Still attached to part of the fabric band originally used to wear these on the head and not suspended from the ears.  They are quite weighty.  This band has been cut and still carries its share of tribal grime!  Use to attach to a new headpiece or cut the threads to use earrings separately.

The Baloch or Baluch are semi-nomadic people who live mainly in the Balochistan region of Pakistan, Afghanistan and a few other countries. Balochi women wear an assortment of nose-rings, earrings, rings on fingers and toes, necklaces, bracelets, and ornaments in the hair. Jewelry is typically made from gold, silver, or less desirable metals, depending on one's means.
